Aziz Ansari Responds to Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Aziz Ansari is the latest Hollywood actor to be accused of sexual misconduct, an allegation to which the Master Of None star has already responded publicly.

“In September of last year, I met a woman at a party… We went out to dinner, and afterwards we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual,” Ansari said. “The next day, I got a text from her saying that although ‘it may have seemed OK,’ upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable. It was true that everything did seem OK to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned.”

The alleged victim is an anonymous Brooklyn photographer who says Ansari pressured her into forcible sexual activity while on a date. The actor has reached out to her personally to apologize.

They’re very low-key,” explains the source, despite Jenner’s decade in the spotlight. “She spent her adolescent life on television… If this is the first thing she wants to keep to herself, she should be allowed that.”
