Mayim Bialik Comments On Possible End Of ‘Big Bang Theory’

For eleven seasons, Big Bang Theory has entertained legions of fans, but rumors suggest it may soon come to an end. On January 11, costar Mayim Bialik, addressed the rumors in a roundabout way.

“We’re really proud of what we do, we’re really honored to be nominated also as a cast tonight. We’re one of the only classic, four-camera sitcom shows that still really believes in what we do and the way we do it,” she told reporters at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

When asked about the show’s possible end, Bialik would only say, “I think everyone will be really happy to do other things in their life.”

Hoda Kotb Announced As Matt Lauer’s Replacement on ‘Today’

It’s official! Hoda Kotb will co-anchor the Today show alongside Savannah Guthie, after Matt Lauer’s firing for sexual harassment. Guthrie made the announcement on January 2 to open the show.

“Today it’s 2018 and we are kicking off the year right because Hoda is the co-anchor of Today. Let’s give her a round of applause. This has to be the most popular decision NBC News has ever made and I’m so thrilled,” Guthrie, 46, said of the unusual decision to have two female co-anchors.

Kotb, 53, has been co-hosting NBC’s 10 a.m. hour with Kathie Lee Gifford for several years, and is slated to continue in that role, as well.

Tarek El Moussa Premieres New Show For 2018

Flip or Flop star Tarek El Moussa is taking on a new project for 2018, and it’s centered around helping people.

The recently divorced HGTV star and two-time cancer survivor, 36, made the announcement with a heartfelt message about the difficult moments people find themselves in – and the importance of asking for help.

“Life is pretty difficult and I’m a big believer that if you need help, reach out,” he said in a video message to fans. “I want to meet with some people to help change their life… I feel that my purpose is to give back, lend a hand, and really help others.”

Few details are known about the show, but Pick Me Up Project will premiere on January 1 on Facebook and YouTube.

Amanda Bynes Is Sober And Planning An Acting Comeback

The last time Amanda Bynes was in the news, it was for an embarrassing string of arrests and increasingly erratic behavior. Now, four years later, the Easy A actress is sober, doing interviews again and planning a comeback.

“I do miss acting, and I actually have something surprising to tell you: I’m going to start acting again,” Bynes, 31, told Hollyscoop. “I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on a show that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of in the future.”

For now, Bynes is finishing up classes at L.A.’s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and making plans to launch a fashion line while waiting for the right acting opportunity to come along.

‘House of Cards’ Final Season Will Feature Robin Wright As Lead

In the wake of Kevin Spacey’s firing, Netflix has announced that production of House of Cards will resume in 2018, with Robin Wright as lead for the epic political drama’s final season. Wright has starred alongside Spacey as Claire Underwood since the series debuted.

“[Season six] will bring closure of the show for fans,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos says. Production is currently on hiatus and producers are working to evaluate how best to move forward.

Spacey remains in rehab after several accusers came forward with stories of sexual harassment, assault and a toxic work environment.

Netflix Puts ‘House of Cards’ On Extended Hiatus After Kevin Spacey Firing

Netflix has announced it will extend the current House of Cards production hiatus after firing the show’s star, Kevin Spacey, amid a growing number of sexual misconduct allegations from the cast and crew.

“These last two months have tested and tried all of us in ways none of us could have foreseen,” the show’s producers wrote in a letter to fans. “The one thing we have learned throughout this process is that this production is bigger than just one person and we could not be more proud to be associated with one of the most loyal and talented production cast and crews in this business.”

Spacey is currently receiving undisclosed treatment at a rehab facility in Arizona.

Wendy Williams Passes Out While Hosting Her Talk Show

During the Halloween episode of The Wendy Williams Show, host Wendy Williams have the audience a real-life scare. While introducing a segment with Halloween costume contest winners, Williams began slurring her words and then passed out.

Producers rushed to Williams’ side, and the show quickly cut to commercial for an extended time. The host, 53, later returned to the set to finish the show.

“That was not a stunt,” Williams told the audience. “I overheated in my costume and I did pass out. But do you know what? I’m a champ and I’m back!”

Williams was dressed as the Statue of Liberty.

Vanessa Lachey and pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy made headlines last week when the their behind-the-scenes Dancing With the Stars feud caused Chmerkovskiy to refuse to rehearse or perform with Lachey. Now, however, the dancing duo seems to have put the past behind them.

“Everything with Maks and Vanessa seemed back to normal this week and no one was talking about it,” a source close to the show says. “It’s like it didn’t happen.”

Lachey, 36, and Chmerkovskiy, 37, wowed judges with their emotional rumba on October 9 and seem poised to continue earning the judges’ praise – if they can continue to get along.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Vanessa Lachey Are ‘Miserable’ on ‘DWTS’

There’s drama in the ballroom!

Sources close to Dancing With the Stars are reporting that contestant Vanessa Lachey and pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy aren’t getting along. In fact, the Ukrainian bad boy didn’t even dance with Lachey on the October 2 show, citing a “personal issue.” Troupe member Alan Bersten stood in as the former TRL hosts’s partner instead.

“There is a lot of fighting going on behind the scenes,” one insider says of Lachey and Chmerkovskiy’s partnership. “They’re playing nice for the cameras but both are miserable paired with each other.”

Still, Lachey posted on social media that she and Chmerkovskiy are rehearsing their next dance, so fans can expect to see them together in week four of the contest.

‘Property Brothers’ Star Opens Up About Finding Love Again After Divorce

Jonathan Scott is a pro at rehabilitating houses, but the Property Brothers designer says he had to rehab his own life after a devastating divorce left him heartbroken in 2009.

“Being married was a huge part of my life,” Scott, 39, explains. “I spent six-and-a-half years with someone, and it didn’t work. Anyone in a long-term relationship knows how hard that is.”

Still, the HGTV star says the experience helped him grow – and eventually find new love Jacinta Kuznetsov, 29.

“After that I felt defeated, but I learned a lot,” he explains. “I don’t think I could enjoy what I have today with Jacinta if I hadn’t gone through a failed marriage.”
